Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
NTS is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). While we are not ISO certified, our practices and procedures are deliberately aligned with the principles and best practices outlined in ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, and ISO 27701:2019 standards to ensure the highest level of data protection and quality management.
2. Platform Metrics & Monitoring Data
NTS collects system and network metrics as part of its core monitoring functionality. This includes but is not limited to:
- CPU performance and utilization metrics
- RAM usage and memory metrics
- GPU performance monitoring
- Logical drive capacity and usage
- Physical drive performance metrics
- Running processes and their resource usage
- System services status, configuration and runtime state
- Startup applications and their configurations
- Installed applications and software inventory
- Network interface statistics and performance
- Network device connectivity and response times
- System hardware information and specifications
As our platform continues to develop, the specific metrics collected may evolve, but they will always fall within these
general categories of system and network performance data. All metrics are visualized in the Control Panel through
time-series charts and dashboards, allowing MSPs to track performance trends and system health over time.
This monitoring data is:
- Collected every 15 seconds for detailed metrics
- Stored in our secure time-series database
- Retained for 10 days in detailed form and 12 months in summarized form
- Accessible only to:
- The MSP that commissioned the monitoring
- NTS development team for platform maintenance and improvement
- Used solely for the purpose of system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Never shared with or sold to third parties
Access to the Control Panel (CP) where this data is displayed is strictly controlled through secure authentication.
Each MSP can only view data from their commissioned sites, ensuring complete data isolation between different MSPs
using our platform.
