Stop firefighting.
Start managing at scale.
Every NTS subscription includes a complete remote management toolkit. Run commands, launch apps, monitor services and processes, broadcast messages, schedule tasks and trigger remote support sessions - all from your control panel, all logged by technician and timestamp.
On-demand actions.
Queued and executed at the agent.
One-Run Tasks are commands you queue from the control panel against a specific workstation. The NTS Agent picks them up on its next check-in (every 30 seconds), executes them, and logs the result. Every task is logged with timestamp, technician username, and outcome.
Start Application
Start AppLaunch any executable or open a URL on the remote station. Specify the full path and optional command-line arguments. The agent runs it on its next check-in under the current user context.
- check Full path to any executable, script, or URL
- check Optional command-line arguments supported
- check Execution is logged: what ran, when, and by whom
- check Output is not captured - use Remote CMD if you need output
Remote Command Prompt
Remote CMDRun CMD commands on the remote station with a persistent session. Each command's output is returned to the CP - use that output to decide your next command. Working directory, environment variables and session state all carry over between commands, exactly like sitting at the machine's command prompt.
- check Persistent cmd.exe session per station
- check Working directory and env vars carry over between commands
- check Full output captured and returned to the CP
- check Navigate directories, create files, edit registry keys, install software
- check Session reset available from the CP when needed
Send Message
User MessageDisplay a message on the station's screen. The agent shows the message to the user as a popup on its next check-in. Useful for communicating maintenance windows, instructions or notifications directly to the user without needing to call them.
- check Message displayed as popup on endpoint
- check Shown on next agent check-in (30s)
- check Delivery logged with technician name
Remote Support
Remote Support UnattendedTrigger the agent's remote access flow from the control panel. Both modes work identically at the endpoint - the same Windows remote access prompt appears, the same one-time code is generated. The difference is in delivery: in standard mode the user reads the code to the technician, in unattended mode the agent relays the code back to the CP so the technician can connect without the user needing to be involved. Fully transparent either way.
- check Standard mode: user reads code to technician
- check Unattended mode: code relayed to CP - Windows prompt still visible on screen
- check All sessions logged, timestamped, attributed
- check Only authorised use. Every session is audited.
Clear Temp Files
Clear TempQueue a Windows temp folder cleanup on the station. The agent clears the Windows temp folders on its next check-in - no user action required, no interruption to their work.
- check Clears Windows temp folders silently
- check No user interaction required
- check Result and cleanup summary logged
Reboot System
RebootQueue a system reboot on the station. The agent initiates the restart on its next check-in. This is a powerful action - it is logged with full attribution so there is a complete record of who rebooted what and when.
- check Initiated on next agent check-in
- check Full attribution: technician, station, timestamp
- check Admin privilege required
One action. Every station.
While One-Run Tasks target a single workstation, Site ORT lets you queue a task across multiple or all stations at a site simultaneously. Select your targets, queue the task, and the agent on every selected machine picks it up on its next check-in.
Send Message
Broadcast a message to selected or all stations at the site in one action.
Start App
Launch an executable or URL across multiple endpoints at once.
Reboot
Queue a coordinated reboot across selected stations at the site.
Clear Temp
Trigger a temp file cleanup on all selected stations simultaneously.
Set conditions. Let NTS watch.
Act automatically when things go wrong.
Automation tasks run continuously on each endpoint and respond to defined conditions - without any manual intervention. Each task can be enabled or disabled, configured to produce warning notifications or not, run once per trigger window, run always, or run only during specified time windows per day.
Service Monitor
Monitor any Windows service by name. When the service goes down, NTS detects the failure and executes a configurable recovery action. Recovery actions use the Start App mechanism - run anything: restart the service, launch a repair script, open a URL. Chain commands for complex recovery sequences.
- check_circle Monitor any named Windows service
- check_circle Configurable recovery action on failure
- check_circle Anything goes as the action: restart, script, URL, chain commands
- check_circle Warning notifications on service failure
- check_circle Every trigger plotted on a time-scale chart in the CP
Process Monitor
Monitor any running process by name. When the process disappears, NTS detects it and fires a configurable action. Identical recovery flexibility to Service Monitor - use Start App to run any script, executable, or chain of commands as the response.
- check_circle Monitor any named running process
- check_circle Configurable action when process is not found
- check_circle Same flexible action engine as Service Monitor
- check_circle Warning notifications on process failure
- check_circle Every trigger plotted on a time-scale chart in the CP
Network Node Monitor
Ping any network node from the managed workstation - routers, switches, NVRs, CCTV cameras, VoIP systems, printers, any device with an IP address. Monitor latency, detect outages, and get notified when a node goes unreachable. Configurable check intervals from 15 seconds to 60 minutes.
- check_circle ICMP ping monitoring for any IP/hostname
- check_circle Configurable check intervals (15s to 60min)
- check_circle Uptime monitoring toggle per node
- check_circle Warning notifications on node failure
- check_circle Latency and uptime history plotted on a time-scale chart - just like workstation metrics
Scheduled Command
Run any command or executable on a recurring schedule. Define the command, set the day-of-week and time window, and NTS runs it automatically on the endpoint. Use this for recurring maintenance scripts, log rotations, cleanup routines, or anything that needs to happen on a predictable schedule.
- check_circle Schedule any executable, script, or command
- check_circle Day-of-week and time window configuration
- check_circle Run once per window or repeat while active
- check_circle Enable/disable without deleting the schedule
- check_circle Every execution plotted on a time-scale chart in the CP
Remote Support.
User-initiated and unattended.
Remote Support is the only tool in the platform that also exists as a standalone One-Run Task. Both modes work the same way at the endpoint: the Windows remote access prompt appears and a one-time code is generated. In standard mode the user reads that code to the technician. In unattended mode the agent relays it back to the CP - no verbal handoff needed, but nothing hidden either. All sessions are encrypted, relayed through NTS cloud infrastructure, and every connection is logged.
- check_circle User-initiated: user reads code to technician as normal
- check_circle Unattended: code relayed to CP - Windows prompt still visible on the endpoint
- check_circle Encrypted relay through NTS cloud infrastructure
- check_circle Full keyboard, mouse, clipboard and file transfer
- check_circle All sessions logged with technician attribution
- check_circle Unlimited technicians, unlimited concurrent sessions
